"1750 Ton Destroyer Leader ... June 11, 1918"

Outline cross-section drawings of the hull form and structural layout of a preliminary design for a large destroyer leader that was under consideration during mid-1918. This concept called for conventional destroyer layout with no inner bottom or wing tanks through the machinery spaces, in contrast to the concept that added such midships fuel tankage in the larger, 360-foot design (see Photo #s S-584-139 and -140) under study at this time. None of these design were adopted for construction, however.
Note: The original document was ink on linen (black on white).

The original plan is in the 1911-1925 "Spring Styles Book".
