Pearl Harbor LST Explosion, 21 May 1944


Fighting fires on the stern of a destroyed LST, on the morning following the disaster in Pearl Harbor's West Loch, 22 May 1944.
The fire fighting ship, partially visible at far left, is probably USCGC Woodbine (WAGL-289). The wrecked landing ship may be USS LST-480.
