U.S. National Ensign flown by L-2 during her 10 July 1918
encounter with the German submarine UB-65 off Fasnet Light,
Ireland. UB-65 was sunk on this occasion.
L-2 was commanded at that time by Lieutenant Paul F. Foster,
USN.
