Lieutenant Merrill Greenleaf, USNRF, (1874-19??)

Merrill Greenleaf was born on 17 August 1874. He enrolled in the Naval Coast Defense Reserve on 2 April 1917 with the warrant rank of Boatswain and appears to have served with the First Naval District through the rest of World War I, primarily on the section patrol vessel Cigarette. Mr. Greenleaf was discharged from active duty as a Lieutenant, USNRF, on 19 November 1918.
