Alsen (American Barge, 1902).
Employed by the U.S. Navy (as ID # 2076) in 1917-1919

Alsen, a 218 gross ton non-self-propelled barge, was built at Rondout, New York, in 1902. Inspected in the New York City area in mid-November 1917 and given Navy registry ID # 2076, she was taken over later in that month and employed by the Navy for the rest of the World War I era. Alsen was returned to her owner in August 1919.

Alsen

In port, possibly in the New York City area on 13 November 1917, when she was inspected by the Third Naval District.
Assigned registry ID # 2076, this barge was taken over by the Navy on 24 November 1917. She was returned to her owner on 20 August 1919.
