Caspian (American Harbor Tug, 1912)

Caspian, an 80.6-foot steel-hull harbor tug, was built in 1912 by John Dialogue & Son of Camden, New Jersey, for commercial use. Considered for Naval use during World War I, and assigned the registry ID # 1380, in early March 1918 she was ordered taken over. However, this action was cancelled and Caspian remained in the possession of her owner, P.F. Martin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This page features the only view we have concerning the tug Caspian of 1912.
