Dafgin, a 1442 gross ton freighter, was built in 1902 at Fredrickstad, Norway, and was thereafter employed commercially under the Norwegian flag. In September 1918, while at sea several hundred miles off the western coast of France, she broke down and drifted for some days before being found by USS Corsair, which towed her into port during 12-14 September. Dagfin appears to have operated for a few more years, but disappears from "Lloyds" shipping register with the 1920-1921 edition.
