Hanover (River Passenger Steamer, 1914);
Later renamed Mandeville.
Served as USS Mandeville (ID # 2563) in 1918

Hanover, a 467 gross ton side-wheel river passenger steamship, was built in 1914 at Wilmington, Delaware. She was renamed Mandeville at some point in the next three years and operated in the vicinity of New Orleans, Louisiana. The U.S. Navy chartered her in 1918 for use at Pensacola, Florida, as USS Mandeville (ID # 2563). Following the completion of her Naval service, she was returned to her owners.

This page features our only views of the river passenger steamship Hanover and Mandeville, which was USS Mandeville (ID # 2563) in 1918.
