Ono (American Motor Boat, 1908).
Served as USS Ono (SP-128) in 1917-1919

Ono, a 46-foot motor pleasure boat, was built at Detroit, Michigan, in 1908. She was taken over by the U.S. Navy in June 1917 and commissioned as USS Ono (SP-128). After World War I service as a patrol boat in the Great Lakes region, she was sold in November 1919.

Ono
(American Motor Boat, 1908)

Probably photographed soon after she was completed. Her upper hull form was later changed to give her a forecastle in place of the low "turtle deck" seen here.
This pleasure boat served as USS Ono (SP-128) in 1917-1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.

She was commissioned on 16 June 1917 as USS Ono (SP-128), stricken on 12 August 1919 and sold on 20 November 1919.
