Raymond, a 183 gross ton wooden barge, was built in 1893. Purchased by the Navy for World War I service, was delivered in December 1917. For the next year and a half, Raymond (ID # 2057) was employed as a yard craft along the southern shore of New England. She was sold in August 1919.
This page features our only views of the barge Raymond, which served as USS Raymond during World War I.
