Sister (Harbor Steamer, 1882).
Served as USS Sister (SP-822) in 1917-1920
Sister, a 72-foot harbor steam boat built in 1882 and
based at Madisonville, Louisiana, was taken over by the Navy in
June 1917 and placed in commission as USS Sister (SP-822).
For the remainder of World War I and for several months after
the Armistice, she operated in the Eighth Naval District as a
tug and freight boat. Sister was stricken from the Navy
list in June 1919 and sold in October 1920.

Sister (American Harbor Steamer, 1882)
In port, prior to her World War I Navy service.
Commissioned as USS Sister (SP-822) on 11 June 1917, she
was used as a small tug and cargo carrier. Sister was
stricken on 17 June 1919 and sold on 10 March 1920.

Sister (American Harbor Steamer, 1882)
Hauled out of the water, prior to her World War I Navy service.
This vessel was commissioned as USS Sister (SP-822) on
11 June 1917. Following employment as a small tug and cargo carrier,
she was stricken from the Navy list on 17 June 1919 and sold
on 10 March 1920.
