Vitesse (American Motor Boat, 1914)

Vitesse, a 40-foot "runabout" style open motor boat, was built in 1914 at Port Clinton, Ohio, for use as a pleasure craft. In August 1917, when she was owned by a Toledo, Ohio, man, the Navy examined her for possible acquisition, but determined her to be unsuitable for Naval purposes. No "SP" series registry number was assigned to her.

This page features our only view of the motor boat Vitesse, of 1914.
