Joseph E. Austin, is in the center of the front row, with the
dog. He is flanked by her six Chief Petty Officers, with seventeen
of the submarine's eighteen other enlisted men standing behind.
Note comment written on the photo: "The 'Chiefs' Ran the
Boat!"
