Mare Island Navy Yard, California
Cruisers and other Navy ships at the Navy Yard waterfront, circa
1907-1908.
The large cruiser in the left center is probably USS Milwaukee
(Cruiser # 21), with what is probably USS California (Armored
Cruiser # 6) immediately ahead of her. The two small cruisers
tied up side by side in the right center are USS Raleigh
(Cruiser # 8) and USS Cincinnati (Cruiser # 7), which
were then out of commission.
The original image was printed on a postal card, published by
Frank J. Stumm, Benicia, California.
