USS Pattina (SP-675), 1917-1919

USS Pattina, a 60-foot motor patrol boat, was built in 1916 at Stamford, Connecticut, as a civilian pleasure craft. The Navy leased her in September 1917 and placed her in service a month later. Pattina served along the Atlantic Coast until after the end of the First World War fighting. She was returned to her owner in February 1919.

Underway during World War I.
Built in 1916 by Ludders Marine Construction Company, Stamford, Connecticut, this motor boat was leased by the Navy on 10 September 1917. Following World War I service, she was returned to her owner on 19 February 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
