USS Rich (DDE-820)
Off the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Pennsylvania, on 15 August
1951, while serving as an anti-submarine escort destroyer (DDE).
She now carries a trainable hedgehog forward of the bridge and
has a tripod foremast with upgraded radars, but retains her original
quintuple 21" torpedo tube mount and 40mm anti-aircraft
battery.
