    In a harbor, probably at Bermuda in the Fall of 1918, while she was escorting submarines to the Azores.
    Among the other ships present are the gunboat Anniston, at left, and the old cruiser Chicago, in the right center distance.

    USS Savannah

    With several "O" type submarines alongside, circa late 1918.
    The following hand-written inscription is on the reverse of the original "AZO" postcard print: "The Old USS Savannah and her babies. The plating on the stern of the subs is torn off. Sea tore them off on our way over."
