Where is the proof on vermicompost?
Cheers,

I also was at the Viticulture meeting and G Hahn of Wormgold had pathogen inhibition analyses showing the different pathogens and tea made from Wormgold supressed or destroyed the pathogens. I believe that most of the analyses were done at BBC labs. Jeff, see this http://www.wormgold.com/test_3.html
If memory serves me right he said that he had gotten a patent on Wormgold for disease supression. Was told that the specific diet fed the worms produces chitosan (sp?) inhibitors.
The presentations were all professional but would be viewed as mostly basic to grape growers on this list. Most conventional growers were pretty overwhelmed at the data and paradigm shift.
One thing emphasized and I agree with is there is no silver bullet.
