I’ll be spending most of Monday September 18 celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the School of Information and Library Science here at UNC-CH. Amongst the speakers tomorrow beginning at 2 pm are Deanna Marcum, Associate Librarian for Library Services, Library of Congress; Michael C. Ruettgers, Senior Advisor and retired Chairman, EMC Corporation; Robert Martin (Ph.D. ‘88) Professor, Lillian Bradshaw Endowed Chair and Professor at Texas Women’s University School of Library and Information Science who will present a tribute to Dr. Louis Round Wilson (namesake of Louis Round Wilsock).

When I first glanced at the logo I thought it said “Eliminating the Past”…
I guess all this Orwellian crud is starting to leak into my psyche 😉
