Some additional things to consider include Oxeye, which grows to 6 feet
tall - we have a hedge of it along our front area, we also use it along the
back of the property at the edge of the woods. Bright yellow flowers with a
yellow eye. Grows like mad. Blooms August to frost, re-seeds generously,
also from root division.
Any of the lobelias are wonderful - blooming in July - the native is
Cardinal Flower, it is available in a number of other colors, once of mine
is deep purple and I've seen a pink flower with darker pink freckles. About
the same height as your lupines.
If you can't fine the Oxeyes anywhere write me.
