Don, thanks for the info, but I am not more reassured by poultry or fish
(farm raised) bone meal. If I understand well, we don't see mad trout or
mad chicken disease because these animals are too young when they are
killed to show any signs of the disease which takes years to manifest
itself. That does not mean that they don't have the prions in their system
(having fed on other animal bone meal), albeit in smaller quantities than
in an older animal. It is even more frightening to think that they are sick
and we don't know it....
