dear bhagavathas,
at the outset, your answers seemed very convincing. but on reflection, it remains unanswered.
in srimad bhagavatham 7.9.48, it is said stated that the lord is "channa kalau" or unmanifest in kali yuga. the same verse also says that the lord is tri yuga - abhavah atha tri yuga. if the meaning to be taken is that the lord appears only in the other three yugas and not in kali yuga, then how do we account for buddha, kalki and archa avataras ? if the meaning is that the lord appears in kali yuga, then why shoud he be called channa kalau ?
has any purcavharya dealth with this point ?
best regards
rajaram v.
