Dear MK Swamin

Thanks for your praising words. Adiyaen is not going to param-padam (Moksham ) ,

if adiyaen keep your praising words in my miind.

Please dont under-estimate yourself. Everyone in this world are very much nobler

than me. If i consider myself, i am the evilest of evilest being in this world , without

any single praise worthy word other and left with only Anartham words.(compared

to our almighty where kalyan gunaas are infinite)

"Pu-kal on-rum- illa-Adiyaen - Un-Adikeel Amar-nthu pu-ku-n-thae-nae !!!" 6.10.10

(This word alone Covers 95% of (3) Rahasyatrayam - Pillai-loka-chariaar )

Regarding commentary on 8.10.X , adiyaen feels that there is no better Orator

than Mr. Sadagopan swamin. He can be revered as a ( Latest ) Nam-pillai Swamin

of 21st century !!!. so adiyaen do not want to spoil the nectar of 8.10.X of

Kaarimaara-piraan by giving half-baked vyaakyaanam.

Adiyaen is still stunned at His vyaakyaanam for Periazhwar thirumonzhi -

Vanna Maadangal sool & sool visum pani mugil thooriam mozhakina (10.9.X)

so splendid....... and has to be archived for our future generations.

However i can flip & conclude that it is pulled off from one single word in Bhagavad Gita.

Sangha-Varjithaha - Sangha -means Pure & varjithaha means association.

The slogam goes like this

"Mat-Karma-krit-mat-paramo-mat-bhak-taha Sangha-varjithha

Nir-Vai-rinaa sarva-boothesu Maa-methi-cha-paanda-va"

Our Beloved Kaari-maara-piraan Zoomed this word to explain in

10 paasurams.(8.10.X)

I leave the Vyaakyaanam for 8.10.X to Mr. Sadagopan Swamin.

Adiyaen is still a student learning with a folded hands before Sadagopan

swamin - New York , Mrs. Jayashree Saranathan swamin(ee) of Mysore,

Vaana-maa-malai padmanaabhan swamin, Mrs.Sumithra + Varadarajan (& Co)

of Mugappair, Madras , Florida Nappinnai swamin(ee) , and the Giant(Legend),

TCA Swamin of Chicago. and we all are bonded more tightly without borders !!.

I am coming to India(perhaps my last visit to India) within two-weeks after a long

interval. I am visiting Thiru-kurugur and my plan is to take a bucket full of sand in

the temple and drop it over the top of my head -> Ai- Jolly !!!

Perhaps one of my dear wish is to die (or breathe my last minute) at the lap of

poorest of poorest shri-vaishnavaa hearing Peri-Aazhwar -Thirumozhi or Thiruvaaimozhi

for which i can give away every little thing ....i own..... to that Shrivaishnavaa.

This is a sure(100%) Moksham erasing all karmaas(irumai vinai kadiyum) and

thereby slicing (or say cutting down) the Samsaaric Tree. Bhagavad

Shri Ramanuja , Paraasara bhattar is blessed to have that bhaagyam. ( Please

try to zoom the above said instance in your mind) (e.g Alambaa Veru-taaa.... ,

Than-naer-Aayiram... , Mech-oothu Sangam idathaan...)

Daasan.

Dear Shriman Sundararajan,

Many thanks for your appreciation which, I know, I do not deserve at all. I consider myself as one of the "siru manisar."  If I quoted Tennyson, it is due to my ignorance of the great treasure in our own sacred literature.

It is Shriman Sadagopan who has wide knowledge of the scriptures and is spreading awareness of sat-vishayam among the devotees, that belongs to the "siru maa manisar" group of enlightened mahaans.

What better way to serve the Lord than by subordinating one's own ego to the "SiRu-Maa-Manisar" who walk this earth very close to us but whom one's inflated ego does not even notice? May I suggest that you write on this subject expanding on the meaning of Tiruvaimozhi Ch.8-10 ?

Subject: [t'venkatam] The Life Superior

Dear Devotees,

Please permit me to share some thoughts which arose in my mind when I was re-reading Tennyson's Morte D'Arthur. The following is a famous quote from that poem:

For what are men better than sheep or goats
That nourish a blind life within the brain,
If, knowing God, they lift not hands of prayer
Both for themselves and those who call them friend?
For so the whole round earth is every way
Bound by gold chains about the feet of God.
                                                   Tennyson in "Morte D'Arthur"
We human beings have so much in common with animals -- such as living in groups, caring for our off-spring, building or choosing a place for residence (nest, lair, house etc), fighting for domain over a group or area or a mate, eating, drinking, playing, reproducing, health, illness etc. There is one major difference: in addition to a pre-programmed brain and the limited intelligence of the animals, we have a mind that  has almost unlimited intelligence, is capable of conceptual, abstract thinking and communicating our thoughts in words, We are also endowed with the free will to choose -- to use this mind-power either to indulge in the needs and pleasures of the senses like the animals or to fulfil the minimum, essential needs of the body and to seek the higher Self which resides within us in the deep recesses of the heart.
It is in this context that the Seers of yore --who saw with a sense of superior perception of the mind -- have prescribed for our guidance the fundamental way of living our lives. And that is to seek the four purusharthaas: Dharma, Arthaa, Kama and Moksha. It may be specially noted that the inner two values Artha and Kama are sub-sets of Dharma and Moksha: they are circumscribed by the two brackets Dharma and Moksha .
Artha meaning resources (wealth) is to be soughr through action within the rules of Dharma. Kama or desire/needs should be such that it is directed towards non-attachment and freedom from bondage (moksha). Leading one's life in this manner, we become true seekers. Constantly working within the field of Dharma with the mind's eye firmly fixed on the only true goal of life, namely, moksha, we shall receive His Grace and be delivered from bondage. Every other way that we choose with our "free" will results in the waste of this precious gift of the human mind.
As Lord Yama told Nachiketas in Kathopanishad, we have two choices:
We can choose preyas or pleasure and live the ordinary life like 'sheep and goats';
or choose shreyas, the highest good and become one with the Gods.

Thus stated, the choice in favour of the latter is so clear. Yet, over centuries, humanity seems to be going the other way.
May be, it is time for Shri Bhagawan to come as an Avatara Purusha and save us.

Dasan,
Krishnaswamy M.K
