I am confused and thus am seeking the views of the learned
ones who could quote the scriptures to back their views.
The Problem:
If you know that the main Deity in a Temple has been
mutilated through no fault or wilfulness of anyone:
And on the advice of the Temple architect covered the
mutiliated foot with a kavasam;
And conducting temple services as usual as though nothing
happened.
Now that I know that the Bagavata Gita says that we
should not worship an imperfect Deity;
And if a Devotee is aware of all the above: Is he
doing the right thing by going to a different temple
to worship, even though from day one he had always been
going to the same former temple ?
