Browsing a safari
Some random thoughts from browsing one man safari today:
- Sometimes, ingenuity doesn't pay.
- Maybe we can get Queensgate in Lower Hutt to look like something with a glass escalator or even longer promenades like Malls of America has?
- Kite photography!
- I'm not the only person posting about sex education books. I'm doubting their intentions are academic, however... besides, New Zealand morals inquiries (whose reports I'm primarily scanning for the bookshelf, though it's littered with stuff from Rout, among others) tend to be far tamer. That and a lot of parents in 1954 decided to use Mazengarb as a manual on what their kids were up to, I'm told.
(And no, I don't endorse any of the last set of external links. Proceed at your own risk!)
Sheesh. Some of the stuff I come across is just plain odd, if not crazy.
Thanks be made to a friend who gave me a tipoff to oms.
