(BBC) -- it's surrounding the controversy of a plancompelling new state-funded faith schools in England to take up to 25% of pupils from outside the religion
.It's interesting as I recall there's a similar provision for 'non-preference students' in New Zealand's state integrated schools, pretty much most of which are Catholic. As far as I know, many if not all of these schools have a non-preference quota in their integration agreements, given though that I've never actually read any of these agreements.
