Everybody Cooks!

This trip is "family-style" -- When you RSVP, let your hosts know which meal you'd like to prepare. We like to cook, and cook for our friends, and we hope you do, too. (If not, there are several decent take-out places in town.)

There is a grocery store in Clarksville or you can easily transport your supplies in a cooler, since the drive is only 45 -80 minutes (45 from Durham, 80 from Raleigh). The kitchen is full-size, and most any utensil you can imagine will be there (ask if you're concerned).

We'll do this first-come, first-serve via email, so choose your cooking partner(s), let us know which meal you want and what you want to make.

We'll post what people are doing when we hear back.

Food Allergies/Preferences

If you have a food allergy or preference you'd like people to know about, let us know.

We currently have RSVP'ed guests who are:

This doesn't mean you can't use any garlic or meat -- just be nice and make sure there's at least something without garlic/meat in it for the 'special' people to eat. And you might want to point out any food you make that contains stuff someone is allergic to. (If this were a rule, it would be the Kristin Lamb Rule.)

Other Foodstuffs

We will have at the house soda (Diet Coke, Coke, Pepsi, Sprite) and basic liquors (rum, vodka, Jack Daniels), as well as various mixers (fresh fruit for daquiris, Rocky's pina colada recipe, sour mix). We will also pick up a case of bottled water, and a few big bags of basic snack foods (chips, pretzels, nuts). Feel free to bring whatever snacks or beverages you'd like, to share or not. (Sharing recommended, see rule 1.)
