Among linguists, for aspectual terminology, the term "punctiliar" (spelled
with "i") is common. I'm not aware that "linear" is. Instead, linguists
would refer to imperfective or continuative aspect, which is equivalent to
Goodrick's linear aspect, I think.
I'm guessing that the term "linear aspect" is not very commonly used among
Greek scholars either.
