Happy Lammastide to all!

Regarding NGDA and NAGD . . . if my memory is serving me well . . . the
difference in the paradigm order is because of German scholarly
influence (NGDA) in the Classics in the east coast American universities
over against British influence (NAGD) - long ago. Text books from
Britain and Australia, for example, the Reading Greek series (by the
Joint Association of Classical Teachers, Cambridge Press) and Teach
Yourself Ancient Greek by Gavin Betts (Australian), use NAGD.

Like others I find the British paradigm confusing only because I learned
the German/American first. The British form has the logic that in the
neuter the N & A have the same form. I was first taught to recite the
definite articles (the next lesson after the alphabet) as a mnemonic for
the case terminations.
