It is the pronominal adjective (SOS/SH/SON); the dative of the personal
pronoun would never be used this way as an adnominal modifier.

I obviously have a long way to go in my understanding of Greel grammar, and I
sometimes despair of ever getting to the point of where I can read the Greek
New Testament without having to "validate" my understanding by going back to
an English translation. Using BibleWorks 6.0, I looked up SOI in the UBS
dictionary (Barclay-Newman) and it is parsed as 2nd person pronoun, dative, singular
of SU. Can somebody provide additional clarification to a struggling student
of Koine Greek?
