I forgot to answer your question about what needed to be changed.  Go to
<Tools | Internet Options> and click on the <Fonts> button.  I have my
"Latin based" set for Arial Unicode.  It MAY be sufficient to set the
"Greek" to a supportive font such as Arial Unicode MS or Titus Cyberbit
Basic, but I have both set.
