Like Wieland Wilker, with IE6 on XP, I still have the little boxes instead of accented Greek in monospace font, with only unaccented characters displayed. It seem the problem lies with these monospace fonts for those of us having difficulty with accented Greek sent in "plain text" messages.
One suggestion I might make (coming from one who formerly worked in web application development) is to define a set of standards. That is, specify the operating systems, browsers, email applications and fonts that are "supported" for use with the b-greek list. The various combinations should all be able to display accented Greek (and other languages?) in all the various forms of email messages (e.g., RTF, HTML, plain text). Putting the focus on Unicode-capable OS/browser/app/font will make that a much easier task.
Hopefully the solution will also apply for me to the online TLG, so I can get away from transliteration and actually read Greek!
