forgive my intrusion into the current debate over the legitimacy of the interlinear bible, however I myself have but one question. Why do we study the scriptures in the first place? Is it not to gain insight into what God might expect from us both individually and collectively? And if this be so than is not a large amount of interpretation and application the work of the Spirit of God? My understanding of the original languages is limited in comparison to what I read each day in these newsletters, and there was I time when I knew even less than I know now, and a time when I knew nothing at all. I first read from the 1611, and one almost needs an interlinear to interpret that translation. The piont is from the very start I needed the grace of God through his teaching spirit, and he has never let me down. I believe that there is truth to alot of the comments both ways, but in the end we trust in the Spirit to bring to our remembrance and our understanding all things that God would have
us to know. Thank you for your time concerning this submission. mark ferreira.
