I'm frankly puzzled by this; yes, there are two acutes on ASPASMENOS,
but in fact ASPASMENOS is not a recognizable form of the only verb
that comes into question, ASPAZOMAI. A perfect participle should be
HSPASMENOS, present ASPAZOMENOS, aorist ASPASAMENOS. But one expects
ELPIZW to be followed by an infinitive such as ASPAZESQAI or
ASPASASQAI. Translations that I've looked at all offer "I hope to
greet you" but that cannot be derived from the text as shown above,
which does appear to be the CCEL Greek text.
