I'd like to echo Skip. I'm also learning Greek (very slowly), on chapter 23
or so of Mounce, and I am SO glad that people like the ones on this list
talked me out of going anywhere NEAR an Interlinear. They are altogether
horrible for actually learning Greek. I did get the Zondervan Reader's Greek
New Testament, which some have disparaged but has been helpful for
vocabulary acquisition, and I have used the NET Diglot (with NA27) the same
way Skip uses his. But that Diglot is also awesome for Bible Studies, not to
teach with, but to make some real good quality notes about what you want to
look up later in BDAG or whatever. It's also great to read along with in
church. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) all
this doesn't give you more answers... Just more and better questions. (I
must admit in all this learning, that that last bit was a surprise.)
