That would be the dialect of a genuine Palestinian Jew speaking Greek. 
Do we have examples of this?  I'm not sure.  It might simply be one of
those things that he heard on the street.  I remember when I was a kid
listening to a radio program called "Life with Luigi" in which a
fictional Italian imigrant would write home to his mother in Italy.  This
was full of non-standard English.  I suspect that this is the case here.
