On B-Greek, the "true topic" is, and must remain, the Greek language of
the Bible, Greek texts, and resources helpful for understanding the text
and language of the Bible. It is not a forum for general Bible issues,
except insofar as they may bear specifically upon interpretation of a
particular Greek text, Neither is it a forum general or specific
hermeneutical or theological issues. Please see the section "Topics
Discussed" in our description of the mailing list:

There is no doubt that the discussion of homosexuality in the church and
in modern society goes way beyond the meaning of the Greek. It's also
true that Christian ethics goes way beyond the meaning of the Greek.
However, "the true topic" for B-Greek is limited to the topics we allow
ourselves to discuss here. This can serve as raw material for some of
the other discussion that must occur elsewhere, but it must occur elsewhere.
