I hesitate to even ask since I am such a new learner and cannot even stand
among you who discuss here. Nevertheless, I humbly ask what might be a
relatively easy question to you all. In my Bible studies, I make every
attempt to study from the Greek as I use my English translations. Part of
my learning is seeing how the Greek was translated.

However, I am failing to see the real translation in 2 Timothy 2:2. I was
wondering if someone could break it down and show me why and how it is
translated. From my simple mind I see the text going different ways. For
example, the NASB renders the text "The things which you have heard" while I
seems to read in the Greek "Indeed you have heard my teachings through many
witnesses."

I have so much to learn so I will sit back and read what you folks respond.
Thanks again for your time. Sorry if my question is bothersome and
childish. Good work you guys!

Jacob
