Dear Carl,

Check BDAG ***A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and other Early
Christian Literature.*** The original lexicon was a translation and adaptation
from Bauer's Greek-German Lexicon edited by Arndt & Gingrinch, then by Danker. I
would also suggest ***The New International Dictionary of New Testament
Theology*** edited by Colin Brown.

The following articles from NIDNTT are:

"Blessing, Blessed, Happy"
EULOGIA, Volume 1, pp. 206-214 by Han-Georg Link.
MAKARIOS, Volume 1, pp. 215-218 by Ulrich Becker.

"Thank, Praise, Eucharist"
AINEW, Volume 3, pp. 816-817 by Helmut Schultz.
EUCHARISTIA, Volume 3, pp. 817-820 by Hans-Helmut Esser.

The above articles in NIDNTT have extensive bibliographies after each article
which are beneficial for further study and checking the sources. The
corresponding articles of MAKARIOS and AINEW will also give you added
information as to the similarities or distinctions made in the NT between the
words.

En Xristwi,

Rev. Bryant J. Williams III
