Dear Navarro,
I asked the same question on Mark 2:2, to which Carl gave the same
answer as he did this time.
But your translation and explanation seems to make a better sense:

But isn't it possible, grammatically speaking, to take it as Carl
does? Do double negatives MHKETI .... MHDE make Carl's interpretation
less probable?
