Three unidentified GIs. Could this be near
la place de la mairie à Cherbourg? |
|||
On the back in
Felix's handwriting, "Cherbourg
France
Seymore."![]() Seymore is wearing an
Army Service Forces shoulder patch which was worn by members of
the 3110th.. His name does not
appear on the
partial rosters for the 3110th
that I have obtained to research Felix. While in Cherbourg, Company C served with
other Army
Service Forces units in Cherbourg,
such as the 810th
Signal Service Battalion whose members would also be wearing
that patch.
