Camouflage Measure 31-32-33 Series, Design 6A


Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for aircraft carriers of the Essex (CV-9) class.
In Measure 32 this scheme is known to have been applied to USS Franklin (CV-13) and USS Bunker Hill (CV-17).
This plan shows the ship's port and starboard sides, bow, stern, and island ends. It is dated 19 July 1943 and was approved by Commander William C. Latrobe, USN.
