Hickam Army Air Field, Oahu, Hawaii


Aerial photograph from 4000 feet altitude, looking northeastward, on 3 May 1940. There are about 29 B-18 bombers parked near the hangars in the center of the view.
Note the large, multi-winged barracks building to the left of the hangars. The road running along the south end of Hickam Field runs to Fort Kamehameha, which is out of view toward the right.
Fuel tanks in the upper left are located near the Pearl Harbor Submarine Base.
