"Home from Korea"


Start of a parade for homecoming First Marine Division personnel, at Oakland, California, 22 March 1951. These 1500 Marines were the first Korean War veterans returned under the USMC rotation plan. They arrived at Oakland on board USS General George M. Randall (AP-115).
Ship in the right background is the SS Cuba Victory.
