USS Constellation (CVA-64)


View of the carrier's starboard quarter "Terrier" guided-missile installation, including a Mark 10 launcher with two missiles and an SPG-55A guidanace radar. Taken in the Indian Ocean during Operation "Midlink '74", 16 November 1974, by PHCS(AC) Robert L. Lawson.
Aircraft on Constellation's flight deck include a SH-3A "Sea King" (probably Bureau # 149737) of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron SIX (HS-6) and a RA-5C "Vigilante" of Reconnaissance Attack Squadron FIVE (RVAH-5).
Many of the crewmen on the flight deck are carrying chairs.
