Traveler
(American Motor Boat, 1914)

Photographed prior to World War I.
This pleasure craft was acquired by the Navy on 5 May 1917 and commissioned on 14 July 1917 as USS Traveler (SP-122). Stricken on 31 March 1919, she was one of eight section patrol boats destroyed by a hurricane at Key West, Florida, in September 1919 while awaiting sale.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
