In a Great Lakes area port, during the World War I era.
Acquired by the Navy on 7 August 1917, this former pleasure craft was placed in commission on 17 August and served on the Great Lakes for the rest of World War I. She was returned to her owner on 7 March 1919.
Ship in the background is probably the Coast Guard Cutter Morrill.
