(American Harbor Tug, 1903)

Photographed prior to her World War I era Navy service.
This tug, built at Paulsboro, New Jersey, was owned by Loveland Brothers of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she was taken over by the Navy on on 11 September 1918. Commissioned as USS Credenda (ID # 3278) on 19 September, she was employed by the Fourth Naval District until sold on 5 August 1919.
