Dorothy Cullen
(American Harbor Tug, 1893)

In port on a snowy day, possibly in the New York Harbor area on 29 December 1917, when she was inspected by the Third Naval District for possible U.S. Navy service.
This tug was owned by the Cullen Transportation Company of New York City. Built at Boston in 1893, she was previously named Joseph O'Riorden. She was taken over by the Navy on 9 September 1918 and placed in commission as USS Dorothy Cullen (ID # 2183) on 18 September of that year. Decommissioned on 21 October 1919, she was sold on 19 July 1920.
