Dreadnought
(American Motor Boat)

Hauled out of the water at the Boston Navy Yard, Charlestown, Massachusetts, 14 May 1917.
Taken over by the Navy on 17 May 1917, this motor boat was placed in commission on 20 October 1917 as USS Dreadnought (SP-584). Later renamed SP-584, she was returned to her owner, Eldon B. Keith of Brockton, Massachusetts, on 6 June 1919.
